At De Haan Gallery, we take great care in delivering our handcrafted ceramics safely to your doorstep—whether you're just around the corner or across the globe.
Packaging & Handling
Each ceramic piece is individually wrapped in protective materials and cushioned inside sturdy boxes.
We use double-boxing for delicate or high-value items to ensure maximum protection.
All packages are clearly marked “Fragile – Handle with Care.”
Shipping Options
Worldwide courier shipping with tracking and insurance.
Estimated delivery: 10–15 business days, depending on destination
Shipping Costs
Please note that shipping costs may vary depending on the product, its size or weight, and the delivery destination. While we strive to provide accurate estimates at checkout, final shipping charges may differ from the initial amount shown.
In cases where the actual shipping cost differs, you will be informed of the updated amount before your order is finalized. Your purchase will only be processed once you have confirmed and accepted the final shipping cost.
We reserve the right to adjust shipping fees accordingly to reflect current carrier rates and delivery conditions.
Insurance & Claims
All shipments are insured for the full retail value of the item(s).
If your item arrives damaged:
Contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging.
We will initiate an insurance claim and offer a refund once approved.
Tracking & Notifications
You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order is dispatched.
Real-time updates are available through your Shopify order page.
Customs & Duties
For international orders, customs fees, import duties, and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
Shipping Limitations
We do not ship to countries with import restrictions on ceramics or fragile goods.
Oversized or extremely delicate pieces may require custom shipping arrangements—we’ll contact you if this applies.
Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging.
Custom or commissioned pieces are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was damaged in transit.
