3 day half day. Summer workshop. Roz Wallis 26 - 28 August.
This three-day, half-day workshop is designed to balance focused clay-based learning with time spent along a stunning coastline. Each morning is dedicated to hands-on making with clay — throwing skills, developing confidence, and refining technique — followed by free afternoons for you to explore, rest, or join us for a short hike down to the deia coastline after lunch.
Open to all levels, the workshop supports both beginners and more experienced makers. Beginners will be guided through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, while teaching for experienced participants is demo-led and shaped around individual interests and questions.
We work from 10:00–14:00 each day, with snacks and refreshments provided throughout the morning.
The first two days focus on throwing, allowing time to explore form and build a small body of work. The final day is dedicated to trimming, refining and finishing your pieces.
On most days, we’ll head down to the coast together to enjoy the landscape — this may involve a walk, sitting by the water, or a drink by the sea. For those who wish, swimming is possible sea conditions permitting, but it is entirely optional and undertaken at your own discretion.
This workshop is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in clay while still leaving space for rest, connection, and the freedom to experience Mallorca at their own pace.
The afternoon activities are entirely optional.
